...with water and IC fan, I don't think I have a problem in the intake air cooling department anyways. :-) And, I can always add a H2O mister as per the thread above... ;-)
It's flow restriction I am/was worried about. And so far, no hard data about whether the 9K IC (plus the longer and more contorted piping needed to go around the radiator and rad support) is siginificantly better in this (and _only_ this) respect. It has got to flow a _lot_ better for me to give up a tried and tested (not to mention paid for) set up.
OTOH if a '89-'93 c900 IC flows within 10% of Abbotts version of a 9-3 crossflow IC (which I assume to flow at least as good as the Viggen IC, would defeat the object otherwise) and that one is OK for close to 300 hp or so, I should be more or less OK with the projected 280ish hp on Saabine, right?
Anyways, -relatively- speaking the c900 intercooler does not seem to be as restrictive as it's reputed to be. Or -better put- other IC set ups are just or almost as restrictive, but that does not seem to hold the cars they're in from making the power... :-)
