The Dawes device is designed to really only display output at wot, so as to avoid all of the flashing (essentially useless information) lights when at idle and part throttle. His interpretation of the voltages say that:
.75 to .90 lean - add more fuel
.90 to .95 ideal
.95 to 1.00 slightly rich
> 1.00 very rich
These readings are supposed to apply to any standard oxygen sensor, but I am hoping otherwise since my voltages at WOT range from .75 to 81. Dawes recommends the following if the oxygen sensor is seems to be reporting lower than expected voltages:
"Solder your connections to the oxygen sensor. You may also have a weak sensor, or your engine is running leaner than you thought."
I can't imagine I'm running lean on this low a boost (15psi), 24lb injectors and a 3.0 fpr. So it must be my O2 sensor or the Dawes voltage to richness scale is a bit on the rich side. That is what I am trying to determine.
Anyone out there have voltage readins from their O2 sensors?
Will
