Scanwest only carries the one style of the JT pipe. I believe it's 2.5", could be 3" though. He said it attaches onto the end of the elbow and goes down the the cat. Simply just a bolt on pipe. Doesn't require the battery to be relocated. I'm wondering if that will even help? They only want a little over $200 for that. I could have that done custom for $100 or less, no problem.
I wonder if Scanwest could order the proper JT downpipe I'm looking for. The 3" version that requires battery relocation.
I'm only looking to spend $200-$300 on a downpipe. I'm sure the MRT style downpipe will work awesome, but I have too many other projects to put money towards.
What do you think? Slap on a 3" pipe after the elbow? ($100-$150)
Or order the JT 3" downpipe from flange back from Engstrom? ($200-$300)
Thanks for your insight!
