Went through two iterations of adjustments to the wastegate today. Previous owner had it set around 10.5
I brought it back to about 6.5 (spec for the 2.3T). The boost curve is much flatter now with no cutout. Now I understand the addiction to optimizing boost. It's not as dramatic as it was, lasts longer and is probably safer for my auto tranny. I'd like to get it maxing at about 14, but it is only hitting about 11 now. Is base boost adjustment the only way to get it higher in a stock configutation?
