Nick, I've read your posts for some time and I'm surprised at your attitude in recent posts. I am guessing your a college student that flunked physics or just never took it. Your car probably has a few "go fast" items and you are basing all your knowledge on personal experience and reading European car. Get a life!

Weight loss is a beautiful thing and since weight is the enemy of quarter mile time, you can probably see where I'm going. How much weight have your shed? I'm not talking about your wasteline, rather your car. Saabs are comfortable cars and comfort means weight. There is LOTS of weight a Saab can shed (especially the 9000) that can add (sorry subtract) seconds from quarter mile times. Anyone serious about the quarter mile can get there, but there is sacrafices that are made. There are great lengths that one can go to loose weight and some extremes are acid dipping the bare uni-body shell to reduce weight by 100 - 150 lbs (this does not include rust proofing).

When your at the drags next time, don't go on "slug night" when they let the idiots on the track, go when the pros go and see what quarter mile times are all about.

I welcome you to respond to this email, I will not post again. Your response will hopefully save face for you.

Later Kid.

p.s. Your 1/4 mile times are very unimpressive with the mods you have. Try better tires or weight loss (the car) and then I'll respect anything you post from here on out. If your serious about being an authority with your posts, get the education you need to support your BS.
