efficiency:
Pick up the books "Turbochargers" by Hugh McInnes and "Maximum Boost" by Corky Bell.
Also, visit Turbonetics.com, they have just about any compressor map for all the major turbochargers produced. The books are great for understanding how to read the maps, the site is great for matching the turbo with the engine, etc.
