I have Maptun software in my 9000. It's probably close to 300 hp,
but I have yet to have it dynoed. I do have a substantially larger
IC and larger injectors, along with a less restrictive intake and
exhaust. However, everything that Hirsch says in their reply to
bps makes sense. It sounds like the components they use for
their stage of tuning are very well made and very well matched.
I wonder what size intercooler and turbo they use to get the 310 hp?
Anyone know? Don't get me wrong, I still think Maptun does
very professional reprogramming, and probably have as much
knowledge of Saab engines as Hirsch. I know of no other 'tuner'
that could have reprogrammed my 9000 for the larger injectors
I'm using.
