SCCA Results...third place...

Well,
It was a blast that is for sure. The automatic made it a little bothersome, with the unnecissary downshifting and such. I ended up running 40psi in the front tires and 36 in the rear as some of you suggested. The course was rather quick, in some parts i was hitting 55+ mph. I beat the new 2003 VW Golf GTI 337, a modified 97 900se(with a five speed), a turbo passat, a 3000gt, my buddies, 99 honda civic si. Well anyways the results are posted on the below website just go to solo2 event 7.
A friend of mine suggested that I spray water on the intercooler during runs and then take a can of compressed air that is used for spraying your keyboard, hold it upside down and spary on the intercooler. Since, the can is upside down the liquid inside sprays out and when it touches metal it freezes it. I tested it on a random piece of metal and was extremely surprised when it immediately frosted over. I have a feeling that ice water would do a better job of dissipating the heat but I thought you guys might be interested.
Thanks for the scca tips.
