I've been trying to figure out a way to run an inductive timing light off
the DI Cassette, since I'm retrofitting the system I won't really know the
timing until I measure it (until then it's best guess).
So far the theory is to use spark plug tester lines, approx 6" long with
male and female ends (and a little window where you can “see” the spark).
We could pull out the DI Cassette and use 4 of those suckers to reach the
plugs. Now there is a wire to put the inductive clamp on and read timing.
Just random ideas here, and if your guy can get rpms from just the “green” wire
I’m sure you won’t be looking into this!
