I've been on the dyno several times, at first we tried looking at the DI wiring for a signal and didn't find anything obvious. The dyno operator had a little electronic eye that would read a signal from a piece of tape that we put on the crank pulley, so it looks at how often crank pulley goes around. We were able to fish the tape in from the top and stick it on, or you can pull that plastic cover off, from in the wheel well and the pulley is right there. We left the tape on for months and it still worked fine.
Dyno operator has since found a system, in the dyno software, that allows you to tell the dyno what your rpm is, from the tach, and then it relates engine rpm to wheel rpm. You have to tell it rpm's at several speeds and you have to be in the gear you will use for the pull.
