What about the aluminum block? Weakness?

I am wondering if the new block will be as strong as the old cast block for tuning purposes. Isn't this the common GM / Opel block? Also, I agree on the suspension, there is a huge gap from the wheel to the fender. It kind of reminded me of a stock Eclipse with the small wheels and lots of room. You did not mention the interior which is a significant upgrade. It seems to be well assembled, but only time will tell on this one. Love that new car smell! This could be the first new Saab I would buy since the older body styles (900 and 9000).
