Your post is interesting. Without a change to the boost control system, your boost in gears 3 thru 5 should be at the start of the red zone.
Your commnets about 'into the yellow' would make sense for 1st and 2nd gears.
I can't see how the battery fits into the boost conrol.
I don't know what changes have occured on your vehicle that would explain the loss of power. The changes that you did make would not increase the power to the degree that you have reported. The maximum boost should not have changed. So I am suspicious that something was wrong, that has now corrected it self.
Whenever boost is below normal, you can always check the pressurized hose and tube clamps. Their are 6 of these on your vehicle, plus the ones for the blow off valve. Check the transition casting bolts for good measure. Check the bypass valve vacuum line for spit ends. You could also check out your spark plugs. The ECU and boost can react to plugs that are not quite right, or improper plugs.
I assume that you are runing a stock exhaust. If it the original exhaust system? If so, you don't want to replace it with original stuff, get the sports exhaust. Again, you should not have obtained the power that you were reporting. But a rotting exhaust can have a baffle or other internal part get loose or shift, which can restrict the exhaust flow and reduce power. If and when this happens (relatively rare), then you would also see a consistant drop in mpg's while on highway runs. If your fuel consumption seems normal, then you can probably rule this out.
If you are convinced that the ECU is not acting properly, you can remove fuse #17 for a minute or 1 second, who knows, then replace it. I don't expect that things will change.
I thing that your power output is probably normal at this point, but your vehicle should be faster spooling, and the power should stay on with WOT at high RPM's. Smoother power as well.
The ECU probably does not need any time to recover.
Now if you want the power that the gods gave you for a brief amount of time, you have to increase the boost pressure. Boost = power. You ca take the high road or the low road. Costs from $100 to about $1000. The low road will give you around 1 bar of boost. The high road will give you 1.3 bar of boost. Now that you have tasted it, you want it.
