you need the hubs that the studs stick out of from the 87 as well because if you go to slip the vented rotors over your studs the inner wear surface of the rotor will contact the dust shield before the hat portion mates with the hub (the hat on vented ritirs are deeper) & aparently the calipers are the same but you have to use (forgot the name) the piece that holds the outer pad that wraps around the back of the caliper,from the doner vehicle. I just used both calipers from the 87.
so.... what I did was to just pull the whole steering knuckle from the doner car & did the ball joints while I was there I think you have to compress the spring to get the upper ball joints in because the lower spring perch is heald in place by the same bolts that hold in the upper ball joint
