Im fairly certain the outer CV joint on the car recieving the new spindle assys. will fit into the new spindle hub assys.
but the later axles wont fit into your driver cups because the inner drivers 85 & later are bigger if you want to use the later axles you might try to put the tripods from your old axles onto the new ones if there good & better yet you could change the driver cups on your trans over to bigger ones from the 87 & use the newer axles that would be the best thing to do, the bigger drivers are a great upgrade on older saabs especially the turbos
