Couldn't you just run a digital mutli-meter in line with the O2 sensor wire and fire it up? Or can you measure the resistance of the O2 sensor and calculate it V=IR style. I've only taken voltage readings from the sensor, maybe there is more to it to figure out current. Have you tried?
