Hi !
This subject can probably be discussed until the "end of time"....
We know that torque normally kills trannies, auto transmissions are "sensitive" during gear shifts.
Thats why the engine management usually reduces the torque during the time that the transmission is shifting.
(also because of comfort reasons)
I've seen a couple of ZF's killed by too high torque, too high torque during shifting gears !
Unfortuatly, the tuning companies crank up the boost in mid rev region, resulting in "quite high torque".
IF you can find a tuning s/w with "lower" low/mid rev torque, or not so terribly high, and then keep it there up into the hi rev region, the result will be bhp's !
Or in other words, if you can keep the torque at 350 Nm from 2000 rpm up to 5000-5500 rpm (or even higher) the car will be quite quick.
But one word of caution, TRY to release (slightly) the accelerator when the gearbox is shifting, and it will last longer even if you car produces more performance than stock.
I don't want to publish any torque numbers, as the can be misunderstood.
