I have been using Aquamist's computer controlled water injection system for little over a year, and it has been a miracle worker. It is the foundation anyone should have before raising their boost pressure on a classic 900. This system has allowed me to achieve power levels on 92 octane gas that I always wanted to reach but never could because of no detonation control. On my last dyno run this month, I pulled 211 HP at the wheels at 20 psi. I believe the Abbott water/air intercooler is beneficial, but never have run across anyone who can truly demonstrate how much it has helped in detonation control. I purchased my Aquamist system from Georges Imports, Ltd. (SAAB Dealership in Kansas City, MO). The owner Brad Schaffner is a dealer for Aquamist and is one the most knowledgable people I have ever met in the SAAB community. E-mail him(brad@kcsaab.com) and you will find him extremely helpful. Ask him about why the cold start valve location is a bad idea. If you have any questions, e-mail me.
