Ok, I've been over this quite a bit last 2 days with the machinist I know.
Basically, it's not that complicated, the hardest part is the Aluminum clamp for the steering rack. A lot of setup time, and probably like $30+ in materials for that one piece. (takes a lot of billet for that sucker)

Anyway, What if the rubber in the clamp was just replaced with the same part but in Polyurethane, or maybe even a hard plastic? It should still work as good, (if you don't think so, please post here and say why) and it would be a lot easier/cheaper to make.

As for the brace arm, that should be pretty easy (so he says) But we need a bit more direction for that bit. If someone here could take a picture of their brace installed with the wheel off that would be great. Heck I could even paypall you $5 or something. (I don't really want to since I'm not doing this to make any money, but I will if I need to)
This brace kit is gona be cheap. To pay for some of the R&D I'll now be working 1-2 hr's a night after work in the machine shop, at first setting up a network for the mills, and the computers there, then doing general labor stuff. I'm willing to do this for me, and you can all get in on the deal too.

Bottom line here is, I'm not planing on making a thing on these, and what my guy wants to get paid, I'll be working off in his shop, so you can be sure that these will be cheap. (like materials and shipping plus +$10 cheap I hope)

Anyway, post if your interested, post if you have a picture of the behind wheel part of the brace, and post if you think that the poly/plastic replacement of the rubber bushing won't work.

Thanks.
