Regrinds are not the best choice inna Performance Camshaft. Price is the ONLY attraction... absolutely a case of 'ya gets what you pay for'
In a Regrind (by anybody)the Cam Lobe base circle has to be significantly reduced in order to get more "lift" out of the Lobes.. this means significantly altered ramp angles on the lobes.. and there's more, but that's usually enuff reason to leave regrinds for backyard 350's.
If yer serious about performance bits.. a "billet" cam is the only sensible option... but the price is understandibly higher.
