5 spd. rebuilders, which shift-shaft spring to replace?

Hey, I am trying to button up my 5spd rebuild. I just got my UPS today from Eriksson Industries, and they shipped me the rearmost spring. This one is SAAB # 8722829, and it is the double legged torsion spring which is loaded onto either side of the square block "dog" which is pinned to the shifter shaft. My trans. has the internal centering, so this double spring is the one which gives the "rotational centering". I was thinking that GregD's recommendation was to replace the SECOND spring on the shaft, the single leg torsion spring which holds against the shifter fork(s), which I guess must be the "axial centering" fore & aft.
I had fun describing to the guy at Erkisson's which spring I wanted, I just told him the "shifter shaft centering spring". Seems to me I got the wrong one from him.
Please advise. Is it time to start over, or is the dual spring the one I want?
