The VRK will greating improve things. Right now the connection between the steering wheel and the wheels is very poor with high loads. But maybe you don't want the VRK. I had the VRK on a 95SET (rip).
There are plastic steering rack bushings being prototyped right now on this BB. So you could get those and the urethane bushing set for the front end and have a result equal to the VRK or better! And it would cost much less. So you would use no Abbott parts at all. You would get the lateral control arm bushings which will be more effective than the subframe brace ever was. And the front sway bar polys will improve the effectiveness of the sway bar as well. So that is two plusses over the VRK.
Many are not wanting to use the Abbott subframe brace these days. To much damage from being too low. If you have lowering springs, all the worse. I had three such events with the stock SE springs!
When doing these things, remember that the strut upper mounts and bearings are a wear item. These can get real bad!
