i guess i didn't completely explain. i don't have an issue with fueling at the top end. my problem comes as the voltage in the car drops. turning on the lights, brakes, fans, etc. the voltage fluctuates from 14.1 volts to around 13.1 depending on load. this is enough of a change to impact the a/f mixture at normal operating conditions (low load=high voltage and rich, high load=low voltage and lean mixture).
while this fluctuation is a seperate issue, i am trying to figure out how this is causing mixture variations. don't know if the wolf system is impacted, or if the fuel pump is the culprit. it is noticable enough that when a/f is slightly rich by the gauge, i can turn on the headlights and the mixture will drop into stoich. also, the wolf has a table to tune out voltage fluctations (by adding/subtracting ms for pulse width for each .1 volts), but i am just trying to figure out why. any thoughts on the cause?
