way out crazy question..

A friend of mine with SAAB engine experience says that my 9-3SE has in fact got a 2.3 litre turbo engine in it!
let me start by saying that my car was originally used by SAAB in 1998 to make their brochure. If you have one of them still, it's that blue 9-3 in the pictures. They did bolt everything on it for picture taking sake. Don't ask how I ended up with the car. Suffice to say that it was an "inside" job. But there are no markings etc to show what size engine is in the car. Does anyone out there know how I could tell the difference in a not to complicated way?
As a footnote to what my mate is claiming: if the engine is indeed a 2.3 turbo, am I the only one with a non-Viggen 9-3 2.3T? It might explain why I keep blowing away everything on the road, except WRX...
