Thanks Guys!
I will, as you both suggest, put the MBC upstream of the BPC (in the compressor line)with the vent hole blocked, and play with it from there. I am still wondering how I know if I've gone too far... but I suppose I'll just wait until the performance stops increasing, and back it off from that point.
I have played with my car's intake a little, and, as soon as the weather gets warm enough that the materials and my fingers won't shatter, am planning to do the 3" intake/funnel modification. Eventually I'll put on a sport exhaust to allow for some real power, but not for a few years (engine is strong enough for my chassis at the moment). My main priority is handling/response. This board has been invaluable in guiding me to this goal.
In addition to my Dawes experiment, I have so far:
K&N filter
TBTC rework
Forge BPV (piston to the pressure)
SAS anti-sway bar
sexy sexy performance black steel wheels and snow tires
no damn shift-light
Planning...
VRK (on its way)
assorted bushings
3" intake and hose insulation.
I'm trying not to hurt anything in the meantime.
Best,
Lutfisk
