300 hp is not "the limit" for a TD04-15T. It is probably way past the limit if you want some form of longevity from your turbocharger, but ut is definetely not the limit.

Check out http://www.maptun.com and "maptuned cars". The third 9000 (a beautiful red one) has been dynoed @ 346 hp, but runs with a software giving around 325 hp as the more aggressive software is slightly "too much"...

The key to developing serious power in the 9000 Aero is quite simple. Start from the factory bottlenecks and work your way down:

1. 3" exhaust w/ 3" free flow cat
2. Modify airbox or open air filter
3. More fuel, such as large Bosch "green giants" (P/N 0280 155 968)
4. Larger more free-flowing intercooler (stock has OK flow, but plastic end tanks don't appreciate 20+ PSI in the long run)
5. Ported wastegate hole on turbo and stronger actuator
6. Larger turbocharger

After step 5 you can start looking at camshafts, ported/polished head etc.

Water injection is not necessary to produce serious power on a 9000, it's mainly a way of "hiding" the fact that you haven't done steps 3-4 above...

Naturally, most steps above require a nice software to suit the modified hardware. And anything beyond step 2 will usually require a reinforced clutch (there's a nice Sachs reinforced pressure plate that can handle 400+ ft-lbs with stock clutch plate).
