Whren cold, the gauge will stay in one position until 02 has warmed up. It will then begin to sweep. It sweeps at idle and at when driving at a steady rpm. It should only show rock solid when at wot(Green) and when your letting off the gas after accelerating. Mine at times will stay at a certain mark for a second and then sweep again.I have a new o2 sensor if that helps any. Did you connect it to the inner part of the signal wire and not the outer shielding?
