Hey guys,
I just called Nick at Taliaferro Saab today, concerning the fuel chips for the c900 LH2.2 and LH2.4 ECU's.
Here's the new information...
-Chips are made by Speedparts
-Chips are avialable to any/all c900 LH2.2 and LH2.4 ECU's
-LH2.4 has 7200 RPM Rev Limit
-LH2.2 has 6800 RPM Rev Limit
-Revised Full throttle fuel map to correct for added boost
-Revised part throttle mixture calibration
-Can be used with either RRFPR or 3bar FPR
-Can be used with stock or upgraded injectors
-$78 shipped to your door
-Shipping time usually takes 10 days to your door from Sweden!
-All they need is the ECU number (0 280 000 xxx)
Well, there's all the news. I ordered a chip for my LH2.4 ECU (0 280 000 582), for my 1990 SPG today, can't wait to get it! ( :
I'll take pictures of the installation when I do it, and add a little writeup on my webpage to help others with their installations. The installation is very straight forward, should only take like 10-15 min. I helped install a NEUSPEED chip on my friend's VW Corrado. Easy stuff.
Happy SAABing and happy chip tuning!
Taylor
90 SPG
