I would really really love to do this!
At SOC 03 in Hershey I'm going to do a few dyno runs with whatever mods I have at the time. Then, I'm going to do a few more runs with the power to my water injection turned off. I'd like to see the differences in HP and torque with and without the water injection.
Unfortunatly, with something like the ECU chip, I just don't have the time and money to do a few dyno runs a year. It would be quite a pain to install and uninstall the chips real quick while in between dyno runs ( ;
I'd like to know the numbers that one of these little chips puts out. I asked Nick about this and he said that without any real mods, other than a 3bar FPR, it would provide a small, but noticeable HP gain. With more mods, like Stage 2 APC, bigger turbo, etc, etc, you will be seeing more HP increases. If car A gets a 5 HP increase, car B might get a 15 HP increase.
I'm most curious to see what a completely stock c900T with just a 3bar FPR (since that's what the chip requires) would do with the chip. It would be a small gain, but then you can always think, "thats the least I'll get"
just my two
Good luck, I'll keep you all posted!
