Erratic Idling - HELP

I have a problem with the idling of my '91 900 Turbo. I installed red series injectors from SD after that the car's idling was somewhat lumpy and occasionally cycled up and down from 750 to 1100 rpm. For the most part this was acceptable but I suspect the car was running rich.
After that I installed the MSD 6 boost timing master which stopped the cycling and smoothed the idle, but then I started running into the fuel cutoff. From recommendations, I installed a 330 ohm resister in the orange wire from the mass air flow sensor. This raised the base idle to about 1300 rpm and it would cycle up and down to about 1800 rpm. After that I tried a 270 ohm resister and this mostly stopped the cycling but the idle is still at 1100 rpm. I have checked that the throtle position sensor is adjusted corectly and when I installed the resistors the battery was disconnected which reset the ECU.
I would have thought that the resistors would have had an opposite effect because the ECU would see less air flow and therfore cut injector duty cycle (leaning the idle closer to normal). Before the modifications the car used to idle silky smooth, even better than my 2002 9-3.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
