monitoring pressures with some sort of remote device is unnecessary; runs last <60 seconds. besides, half of the autox experience is d!ck!ing around with tire pressures & yammering on about which tire is better than that tire, yada yada.

get a good gauge with a bleeder valve; ~$25

to prepare for race: either bump pressures up before you drive to event and drop to required levels before running, or buy either a 12v cigarette-lighter operated pump (cheesy, slow) or a small compressed air tank to store air in if you have a compressor at home. bicycle pump works too, but is slow.

once you do your first run, you usually aren't adding pressure for subsequent runs unless you dumped too much pressure before starting.

u may try running higher, too. i go 42-45 up front on my c900, 4-5 less in back to keep the rear end a bit loose. (kumho 712 ecstas; new azenis waiting in kitchen for new rims :-)

play with pressures with some shoe polish markers. does your region have any test 'n tune events coming up?

btw, may want to leave suspension alone for now 'til you get more seat time. takes just one run by some h0tsh!t autox instructor who can outdrive you by seconds and who's never driven your car to show you that the best money spent is on instruction, not the car. especially humbling when they narrate while they drive, use one hand only, take eyes off course to look at you when talking, pointing to cones up ahead, etc. :-)
