High CO is a result of too much fuel, or incomplete combustion. Make sure your timing is adjusted correctly, then start backing off the fuel. Taylor's suggestion is a good one. How is the O2 sensor doing? Have you verified it's doing its job? You might also consider switching out to a hotter coil - a Bosch Red Coil is $40 and may improve the situation.
