Hello!
Installation of most brake pads will require use of a lube or compound at the backing plates and outer contact areas of the brake pad. You may want to insure that the installer used the lube included with the pads.
Because of the ceramic compound within the Axxis/VGX friction pads, it is unlikely that the vocals are due to bedding/break in but it should not be completely ruled out. If your symptoms reduce over the next week of use, the break in (especially if the installer did not install new rotors or put a non directional finish on your current rotors)may be causing the unwanted vocals and should be eliminated over a short period of time.
Please feel free to contact us toll free at 877-551-9840 if you or your installer should have any questions!
Best Regards,
GSK @ SDI
