Abbott Racing Sports Brake Kit

Hi,
I have a reasonably modified Saab 9000 Aero (manual of course!) with many Abbott Racing enhancements. Power is around 220kw with around 420nm of torque. Obviously the standard brake system, whilst barely adequate for the standard 9000 Aero, needed upgrading. Hence the Abbott Racing Sports Brake Kit which I am advised by Giles Fairweather (Abbott Racing Tuning Manager) is the Viggen front rotor and caliper system modified to fit the Saab 9000-upgrades the standard rotor of 280mm to 308mm. My concern centres around seemingly excessive front rotor wear rates. Especially since my braking style has barely changed! I am also running Mintex Fast Road compound front pads (1144 i think) as recommended by Abbott. The wear is getting to the point that some of the rotor grooves are beginning to fade away! Has anyone out there who has this kit experienced something similar?? Are the Viggen front brake rotors manufactured from a softer material??? At the current wear rate I will be replacing rotors before the pads wear out and will need to replace rotors almost every year based on my driving style and mileage per annum!!! This is, of course an unsatisfactory situation and I have had no response from Abbott Racing regarding this situation. They are either avoiding my query or just aren't interested!!
Any feedback/comments/advice most welcome. Also any advice on alternate sports brake systems which will fit under 17" AZEV A alloy wheels would also be welcome.
Many thanks in advance
Anthony
