As part of my ongoing engine swap, I'm looking into performance upgrades that are relatively cheap to install while the engine is waiting to go in. I've heard great things about both machined and aluminum flywheels, but as yet I have only seen post on it for the classic 79-93 900. Has anyone with either a NG900 or 9-3 taken either option? Does an aluminum flywheel exist for the 94+ 900 (I've checked http://www.aluminumflywheels.com, they only have c900 availble)?
For machining, I have access to a lathe that could certainly handle the task, is it a difficult or technical process?
Any advice is appreciated,
Nicholas Wood
