Phat. 240s are nice cars, at least from the outside! Dunno about interior styling, nor the KA24 truck motor. Would need a turbo for sure. S13s can be had for pretty cheap nowadays, but the later S14s still fetch C$15-16 around here. If you could find a MkIV Supra for C$15, even US$15 around here, I'd be all over it! The ones I've seen advertised go for C$40-45 still. FD RX7 is lovely, just about the sexiest looking car to emerge from Japan, IMO. If one is to spend upwards of C$20-25 on mods to a S14 (car + turbo install) then perhaps it would be wiser to get the RX7. Both are excellent cars, but if one is in that range of money, I'd go for the FD for sure.

Different story if one is in budget mode and wants a Porsche eater for under C$15 - then I'd be getting into an S13 with a turbo. BTW, SDS is quite experienced with this car, they love it to bits. Their project car, an S13 with a turbo'd KA24, made 230hp at 6.5psi of boost. Also, I'd try and find back issues of Sport Compact Car, where they do the whole JDM swap into an S13. If you don't have it, I can probably photocopy the articles for you.
