I just put the Taliaferro High-flow CAI system on my '99 9-5 SE 3.0T. I absolutly see a small difference in responsiveness and quickness of my car. I can't say that it gave me 10hp like some of the filter companies claim, but I believe matched with an cat-back exhaust system you might get that 10hp. Alone the high-flow filter isn't much of a HP gainer, but what do you expect for less then $100 bucks. If anything it is a good starting place for upgrades, you cant get more power out without letting more air in, it's a simple fact. I would have to say that it might have dropped .1-.2 off my 1/4m times, which is a very nice beginning.
I also have to say that my car did run with the "check engine" light on for the first couple times I drove it, but that quickly went away and it began to give me the extra power I needed. Today's ECU/Trionic systems are made to adapt to changing environments, why else would you see SO many people with high-flow cone filters!
