Have one :-)
Weight distribution is not quite 50/50.. despite the Adverts :-) Rear has a bit more weight (2% to 5%) than front.
So the Heavy Saab unit 'Might' be advantageous, [unless yer after a Turbo version..which by my limited experiences driving a "turbo" 7 (a sample of one ;-) mostly makes it 'difficult' to drive.. crazy acceleration , but little 'fine' control.. it really changes the car driving feel] but the non turbo/power to weight is even lower than an old Xflow... which are V easy to buy and Fit.
Lotsa Ford..GM/Vauxhall even VW(turbo?) engines readily available which have a proven history/fit inna 7.
