i run a mix of 4 qts good dino, one cup of marvel, one cup hyperlube. marvel for breakin ( light machine oil acts like a cutting fluid), hyperlube to retain cylinder wall lube between startups. change at 500 and 2500. amsoil after that. i also run my engines real easy for at least 1-2k miles and run only base boost for 3k miles. others say they like to run them hard when new because you "break them in like you run them". total bs in my book, that's got nothing to do with it. i never run them wide open until i have a dyno run under the belt to check a/f. you spent months of time and thousands of dollars, don't be in a big hurry now. get it totally debugged at low power levels first. you can rev them after 500 miles just don't ask for lots of power until you are sure it is runs right for a while. imo breakin period is important and should be kept at lower heat levels.
