Im currently running 2.2 LH from a B230FT volvo (760)it uses #32 low impedance injectors & a fuel map designed to work with them the AMM & ECU are designed to measure air & deliver fuel for a engine that flows more air than our 2.0s so it lends itself well to performance saab aplications
Im sure the 2.4 could be used
the volvo guys say the stock fuel system (no mods) suports almost 300 HP
with my T3/60 & stock head I was hitting almost 100% injector on time by 3500 RPM (one would have to run pretty damm rich at that point to avoid running out of fuel at 6200 rpm)I also was pushing the AMM voltage above 5V overflowing the AMM quite a bit erlyer
the volvo ecu & AMM gave me about another 1Krpm controlled fuel
one does need a steep fuel curve ramping up steeply to the point of highest volumetric eficiency (highest torque usualy)after that increased fuel demand levels off
so the stock ECU & AMM work great to a point (HP objective) than as you increase flow the power & torque are moved higher in the RPM range which the stock setup cant keep up with
so with my setup I was able to get rid of the RRFPR & my accell #30s :-)
this is the answer for me for now I still have the 6200 rpm revlimit but the system works better than a patched up stock setup
take care
JAK
