Not as easy as I thought. The Split-Second unit looks promising, but I would have to rent/borrow a laptop to use it. Any idea how much this thing runs? How does one go about calibrating an AMM? Presumably it should be done by directing airflow through it and measuring voltage, is this a standard procedure for certain shops/tuners? The AMM article is a great resource, I bookmarked it for later musing.

This LH BS is really pissing me off. Perhaps a simple, effective course of action would be to follow jak's idea and adapt from a Volvo. 300hp? Wheels or crank? I want at least 300 at the wheels (I know the tranny sucks). I get the feeling that at that point the car would run similarly to mine at the 200ish its making now. So this gets me to thinking the benefits of a T5 C900 are far reaching if I am going to be pulling EFI systems from junkyard cars. But this introduces the crank trigger dillema, and Trionic components are not cheap. Damien suggested using a hall sensor trigger on a smaller 58 tooth wheel, with the caveat that the sensor's resolution may not be high enough. Any progress here?

It all points back to stand alone in the end. It is enough to make me want to sell the SPG and buy and Aero. Anybody wanna trade?

Venting Complete (for now)
Thanks Kevin, as well as jak, damien, kooch, Vince, GM and others who are pioneering the methods to get good clean power out of these cars.
