I contacted Engstrom last month, Bo suggested I could have Frank do it before or after SOC. Did the basic stage 1 with ECU and drop in sportfilter. Both men went with men as we worked to adapt with four full throttle acceleration runs. I agree they are good guys to know. While this is real basis stuff for them, they gave me excellent attention and service.

Initial impressions of the upgrade are that the car simply feels stronger throughout the rev band. Less lugging at low RPM around town. Both 3rd and 4th feel more forgiving at low speeds. There is nothing "jerky" about the power. Kind of like what it should have been from the factory.

Frank promises cleaner emissions, better mileage as well as added power. (No word on whether or not it will also slice, dice, and make french fries.) They also threw in a pair of the clear/smoked side turn signals and offered to sell me all manner of springs, lamps, etc. All this for personal attention for the same price as ECU upgrade & filter by mail w/DIY install.
