JAK, go to http://www.bellintercoolers.com, go to core inventory, select 3" core.
Next find the core that has 6" tube length that is 24" long and check the flow rating. Next go the the core with 24" tubes and a 6.2" core size and check the flow. You can get a rough flow of cores by using their table. Not totaly accurat for evry design but will give you a general number. If the core is only 2" thick use the 3" core and just caluculate the flow at 2/3 the flow rating.
As for 90degree bends I have five in the front mount intercooler setup and still managed to loose 5psi exhaust manifold back pressure for the same boost. This caused my air fuel ratio to drop to 14 from 12.5 because of the increase efficency. I am only using 2" tubing and some of the bends are on a 2.25 radius.
When you are ready for water injection let me talk to you so that you can make a more effective system.
Brad
