My stock valve failed so I noticed a huge change in performance when I added the forged valve. It also seems to either be open or closed when before I noticed that he stock valve seemed to linger in the middle on the occasion. Turbo spool up is much more sudden when I get on the throttle. There seems to be close to nill build time now. You might want to note that I am noticing this even after adding a 3" exhaust from turbo to tip. Since my airbox is completly open I can hear when it blows off and the length of time for it to relase preasure is much shorter then the stock valve. I used to get this long release, but now it is quick. Also when I used to get back on to the throttle it used to seem to take a minute to shut, but now it snaps closed and boost is immediate. Definatly worth the $135 in my opinion. 1994 9K Aero (Maybe since my car is make 19 - 21 PSI because I am at alltitude I notice the effects more. Low preasure cars might not see the benefits since at 15 - 16 psi the stock valve used to function fine.)
