especially for a 7in wheel. The point was that such width will not tuck into the back fender when the car is lowered or hits bumps. I have rubbing occasionally over bumps. I run 205-50 Falken Azenis on my stock wheels and my car is lowered with intrax springs. The outside of the rear tire rubs on the fender lip over bumps. These cars just do not have much clearance for fat rubber in back. Compared to a BMW M3, which can run 255s in back, and be lowered to the point where the upper .5in of wheel is hidden by the fender.
