Hi Gehn, we did Gary's engine at Lesco my son's shop what seems like a long time ago now. Saab's being so misunderstood made an engine program a nightmare in the begining. Gary's took forever while we were being promised things like hight strength rod bolts from ARP etc. We finally gave up and converted his rods to big block Chevy 7/16" wave lock ARP's to get his job completed but if we charged for the time it takes it would run the cost up to where we would go with a custom rod like we used in Jordan's engine. We are just now getting through the time consuming R&D on our flow bench that it takes including the '94 heads to do the necessary porting cost effectivaly and complete our solid lifter cam profiles, we've already perfected our hydraulic 16 valve grinds like Jordan's using until his street solid lifter setup in ready to install! Anyway soon we'll have our whole Saab engine program completed and on our Group 9 Performance web site. It's finally sunk in that I can't do everything by myself even with James doing so much for the new company from the east coast so I'm having Lesco do everything from complete Saab engines to just the individual components it takes for a 300 to 500 H.P. motor. I've spent over 5 years now getting each item completed like our NASCAR style lightened crankshafts and we now have all the custom Saab fasteners we have to modify from ARP for Saabs! Take care, Dave
