You can upgrade to the Saches performance pressure plate and it will hold the horsepower. As noted, this also requires a clutch hose upgrade. However, do note that this installation does not always go smoothly for all. The pressure plate has the tendency to only disengage at the very end of the clutch pedal stroke and in some instances people have not been able to get the clutch to disengage. I have used this with success, but just though I would give you the info. Another approach that people have chosen, not me, is to upgrade the clutch disc to one that has a higher friction rating and kept the stock pressure plate. This could work well for intermediate tunig levels, but will most likely not take you as far as the pressure plate change. You may have also see that there is a combined clutch/flywheel option out there. I suspect that this is probably for the high performance users and will be more digital in application.
