If I remember correctly, the (R+M)/2 of 50% toluene and 50% xylene would be about 115. If that's true, 14 gallons of 92 pump premium and 2 gallons of 115 would give about 94.9 (R+M)/2.
I did a quick google search of the literature for non-linear blending models for octane. There are a couple that have been published, but they require data about the chemical composition of the gasoline that wouldn't be readily available to anyone who didn't have a good lab at their disposal.
The linear models are probably OK.
One other thing to remember is that aromatic compounds like toluene and xylene are good for the motor octane number. MON represents the performance under load, which is what we're really interested in.
