Thanks for the link! I finally understand how to use those bizarre-
looking graphs! Using the equation provided on the site, I produced the
motor flow curves for a 2.0L motor from 3000-8000 rpms.
No surprise, both turbos they have on that page are way too small. The
TD05H-16G is so small that the compressor is in the "choke area" for the
entire line of 4000 rpms! The slightly bigger TD06H-20G is most efficient
at 3000 rpms (the 3k line slices right through the best efficiency area)
but is totally choked by 5000 rpms.
I'm going to look for a turbo with peak efficiency around 6000 rpms
that doesn't choke at 8000 rpms. I think Turbonetics or Garrett have the
compressor maps online. It would be nice to find a map for the Turbonetics
T-3 Super 60, as that is what I'm using now on my SPG.
