I was running BCPR-6ES in my 1998 900SET because the BCPR-7ES would be all black and sooted. I changed back to 7ES when I put in the SpeedParts ECU. I changed the plugs just before the latest Dyno run and the 7ES were nice and tan looking, no soot. So maybe the SpeedParts ECU requires the hotter plug.
Whatever the reason, I was happy to see the plugs so nice and clean.
