Deleting APC / MBC tuning: What to set wastegate to?

Hey guys,
I sold my SPG9 Stage 2 APC to go the manual boost controller route (Dawes Devices hybrid controller) on my 1990 SPG.
Before I remove the whole APC setup, what should I set base boost to via the wastegate? Right now it's 5.5 PSI.
The MBC will be set to either 18 or 20 PSI.
Just wondering if I should leave the base boost, or turn it up or down before the MBC install.
Thanks for your time,
take care,
Taylor
RIP Kyle & Tim
